I just had a great talk with Meredith. It was mostly bitching and moaning about shit in our lives and the jobs we have and our art. She's an actress and a paintress, as well as an excellent writer with whom I share the same malady of using commas too much. She's living in New York and if not actually thriving, is actually surviving there, which gives me hope for my future if I head that direction.
We have a lot of the same jealousies and passion for theatre, and it was refreshing to talk to someone who travels in the same circles and is trying to be a professional. So all in all, it was pretty awesome. She's an excellent person, and I do hope we keep in touch, if only for the bitching factor.
